The Beauty In Decay
Most of my creative inspirations are from rugged environments. During a late September stroll in a sunflower trail, I noticed that many of the sunflowers were withering away and no longer facing towards the sun. However, despite the many leaves invaded by insect pests, a beauty remained in the ruggedness.
Rugged environments enhance my creative thinking. I always find something memorable in any rugged place that I come across. During the process of designing, I often create mental notes from my surroundings and incorporate whatever concept or idea that I have gained during that moment into a garment.
